What is AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED?

Heartsaver CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver CPR AED blended learning course and is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for CPR and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor per the 2020 guidelines.

Who should take this class?

General public, Massage Therapists, Educators/Schools, Businesses and Industries. Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training, who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED for their job, regulatory agency, or other requirements.

What are the steps to complete this certification?
(These steps must be completed entirely in order)

  1. Register/Enroll and complete the online portion through the American Heart Association here: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartsaver-cpr-aed-online .
  2. Register/Enroll for a hands-on session listed below:
  3. Bring a copy of your online completion certificate, attend, and complete the hands-on session you registered for.
  4. Within 7 business days, you will receive your certification card via EMAIL. Follow the email instructions to Claim Your E-Card.

What is the Refund Policy?

HACC's Refund Policy – For the Hands-on session

If HACC cancels a course, training, seminar, conference or trip/tour, all paid participants will receive a 100% refund of all tuition and fees. Any student who wishes to drop a course may do so by visiting or calling any of the campus Welcome Centers at 717-780-2414. These requests must be made no less than one (1) calendar day prior to the first-class meeting date to be eligible for a full refund of tuition and fees, except for any tuition or fees noted as nonrefundable. Unless otherwise specifically stated or approved, no refund will be issued after a class start date. We do not issue partial refunds in the event a student starts a class late or does not complete the class. Students receiving Title IV Financial Aid will be subject to the federal regulations regarding withdrawal of classes. Financial Aid eligibility will be recalculated based on dates of participation in financial aid eligible programs.
