The professional coding concentration provides students with the knowledge and skills to take the Certified Professional Coding (CPC) exam through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). This course will provide instruction for using ICD-10-CM/PCS and ICD-9 CM coding. In the healthcare arena, specific codes describe diseases, injuries, and procedures.
