Course description:
Fundamentals of Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS or Drones).
This program will help you answer the following questions about UAVs and fire department operations
~ How can sUAS be used to enhance emergency and non-emergency fire department operations?
~ How do federal, state, and local laws and regulations impact fire department use of sUAS?
~ What are the potential costs of using sUASs in fire department operations?
~ What are the political, social, and other non-regulatory considerations of using sUAS in fire department operations?
This program also will allow plenty of time for you to ask your questions.
