Course Overview:

Amaze your clients with Thai Massage. Learn how to incorporate Thai Massage into your table sessions. This class is great for those interested in practicing Thai but cannot or don’t want to practice in the traditional floor style or for those that want an introduction to Thai Massage. This class is eligible for 7 CEUs.

Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to:

*understand the theory of history of Traditional Thai Massage

*know the Thai approach to body mechanics that avoid overuse of hands

*be able to list benefits and contraindication of Thai Massage for their clients

*be able to incorporate several Thai Massage techniques into their table routine

*know proper draping techniques for Table Thai


Theresa Moore

Theresa Moore has worked in natural wellness since the early 1990s and has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 1997. She brings decades of experience across private practice, spa, corporate wellness, and athletic settings, including ongoing work with the Cornell University Women’s Swim and Dive Team at the Ivy League Championships.

Thai massage has become Theresa's primary focus, a path she began in the early 2000s. She has completed extensive training in Thai massage, Thai foot massage, herbal compress therapy, pregnancy and postpartum Thai massage,Thai medical theory and Reusi Dat Ton. Her teachers include Living Sabai, Naj Jacobson, Rose Griscom, David Wells, and instructors at ITM and OM Sala in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

In addition to her massage work, Theresa is a 600+ hour trained yoga teacher with specialties in prenatal and postpartum yoga, Kundalini, and chakra-based movement, and she is a Reiki Master Teacher. Known for her infectious warmth, grounded presence, and ability to truly connect with students, Theresa creates a supportive and embodied learning environment that invites confidence, curiosity, and deep respect for Thai massage traditions.

When she’s not practicing or teaching you can find her tending to the animals on her farm, working in her garden or spending time with her family.

Refund Policy: Any student who wishes to drop a course may do so by calling any of the campus Welcome Centers. These requests must be made no less than one calendar day prior to the first class meeting date to be eligible for a full refund of tuition and fees (except for any tuition or fees noted as nonrefundable). Unless otherwise specifically stated or approved, no refund will be issued after a course-start date. We do not issue partial refunds in the event that a student starts a course late or does not complete the course. Online course registration and payments are limited to one per person.
