Course Overview
This instructor-led course will review the basics of American Sign Language (ASL) and expand on the essential handshapes, facial expressions, vocabulary, syntax, semantics and commonly-used phrases for ASL immersion in real world Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing communities. The textbook for this course (pictured on this page) is available for purchase online (follow these instructions) or in person in the HACC Overholt Bookstore of the Harrisburg campus: ISBN 978-1646116423.
