The Forearm Fusion course is specifically tailored for therapists who want to enhance their deep tissue massage skills while minimizing strain and exertion. This comprehensive course focuses on utilizing body weight and various forearm techniques
to deliver effective massages. Students will gain proficiency in over 30 techniques, covering both prone and supine positions. These techniques can be immediately incorporated into personalized massages that address individual client requirements.
Emphasizing proper body mechanics and energy-efficient methods, the course primarily consists of hands-on training. This class is eligible for 16 CEUs.
Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to:
Students will demonstrate proficiency in identify proper body mechanics and making adjustments through body weight, table height, and execution of Forearm Fusion techniques.
Students will demonstrate proficiency in identifying when to use specific techniques per their clients’ needs and soft tissue restrictions.
The student will be able to identify and perform each Forearm Fusion technique with skill and proficiency.
About the Instructor:
Jim has been a massage therapist for over 30 years and has been teaching for over 25 years. He enjoys teaching continuing education courses and meeting new students. He developed Forearm Fusion because he saw so many therapists leave the field after a couple years due to burn out and injury and he wanted to give them tools for longevity. Jim co-owns the Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks in Pottstown, PA as well as Rapunzelʻs Salon and Spa in Lansdale, PA.
