In her spare time, Angie has a lifelong love of fitness and pushing herself physically and mentally. She is a retired USA Boxer and group fitness/personal trainer. She has run numerous road and trail races, obstacle course races and has participated in Crossfit competitions around the area. “More movement means more life, and I plan to continue to challenge myself knowing my body is capable of so much more than my mind tells me.”
She has had the privilege of working with and training under some of the best therapists and teachers in the country. Her love for education is what has brought her back to working with clients. “If I’m able to educate a client, bring awareness to his/her posture or body position, then the real healing begins. It’s incredible to see clients being brought back to life, moving without pain or restriction, and engaging in activities they may have given up on.”
In addition to structural integrative work, Angie also utilizes various techniques such as cupping, GuaSha, kinesiotaping, repatterning techniques, postural awareness, sports and stretching, and deep tissue/trigger point therapy.
“Massage is more than a ‘good lotion rub,’ it’s a method of bringing someone back into their body and coming face to face with their potential.”
