Pin and Release (50080)

Course Description:

Enhances the licensed massage therapist skills with a focus on the Pin and Release technique of the upper and lower body. Students are taught how to identifying the muscle or muscle group and how to perform the pin and release technique to aid in release of muscle tension and to increase range of motion. This training course is designed for the licensed massage therapist and provides eight (8) continuing education units (CEU’s)

 

This class will prepare the massage therapist to use Pin and Release techniques on the upper and lower body. The muscle or muscle group is pinned or shortened using various technique, then lengthened to increase range of motion.

 

Jim Earley is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) who has been in practice for 29 years. He is also Board Certified and specializes in Sports Massage. He lives in West Chester , PA.

He is licensed in PA and NJ .

Jim works with many college sports teams as well as many high school athletes and professional athletes and teams.

Jim was also Michael Phelp’s first massage therapist and traveled with him for 4 years.

Jim also has been teaching Continuing Education since 2010. He is an approved provider with the NCBTMB ( #1660) He teaches classes in Foundations of Cupping, Abdominal and Facial Cupping, and Range of Motion Cupping.

Other classes include Active Isolated Stretching, PNF Stretching, and Pin and Release as well as Basic Sports Massage/ Massage Tools/ Gua Sha and Advanced Sports Massage.

Refund Policy: If HACC cancels a course, training, seminar, conference or trip/tour, all paid participants will receive a 100% refund of all tuition and fees. Any student who wishes to drop a course may do so by visiting or calling any of the campus Welcome Centers. These requests must be made no less than one (1) calendar day prior to the first class meeting date to be eligible for a full refund of tuition and fees, except for any tuition or fees noted as nonrefundable. Unless otherwise specifically stated or approved, no refund will be issued after a class start date. We do not issue partial refunds in the event a student starts a class late or does not complete the class. Students receiving Title IV Financial Aid will be subject to the federal regulations regarding withdrawal of classes. Financial Aid eligibility will be recalculated based on dates of participation in financial aid eligible programs.
