Course Overview

This self-paced, virtual course provides an introductory overview of the Forklift certification. To operate a Forklift, Operators must be certified and recertified every 3 years. Forklift Operators are in high demand, so if you enjoy the fast paced, exciting environment of the distribution and logistics industries, or other types of commercial and industrial warehouse sites, becoming a Forklift Operator may be for you. This certification program consists of virtual self paced training and can be followed by hands-on instruction for an additional cost. Students learn how to operate a powered industrial truck without direct supervision. The program is designed to help students achieve certification.

This is a 2-part Certification Class. Upon completing this online class, you will be given instructions on how to register for your Skills (SitDown) class.

**YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE FORKLIFT TRAINING PREP CLASS PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR THE IN-PERSON FORKLIFT SKILLS CLASS**

Please be advised that once you have registered and paid for the online course, you have 30 days to login to the online course.  After 30 days, if you have not logged into the online course, you will be withdrawn from the course and issued a 100% refund.

**PLEASE NOTE: You must complete the online portion before registering for in-person training.

These requests must be made no less than five (5) calendar days after purchase, but prior to accessing the class to be eligible for a full refund of tuition and fees, except for any tuition or fees noted as nonrefundable. Unless otherwise specifically stated or approved, no refund will be issued after accessing the online/self-pace class. We do not issue partial refunds in the event a student does not complete the class. Students receiving Title IV Financial Aid will be subject to the federal regulations regarding withdrawal of classes. Financial Aid eligibility will be recalculated based on dates of participation in financial aid eligible programs.

Online Class Timeline Policy

Access to complete the course is limited to ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. After 90 days you will be considered unsuccessful and be graded as such. You may request an extension by submitting a help ticket here.
