AI at Work: Smarter Tools, Better Results (4 hours – Remote Only)
Course Description:
This course gives you a clear, hands on introduction to using AI to work smarter and advance your career. You’ll learn how to write effective prompts, generate content, analyze data, and boost productivity with Microsoft 365—practical skills you can apply immediately in any role or industry.
Course Overview:
Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to:
• Understand what Generative AI is, what it can do for you, and the many ways you can benefit from utilizing it|
• Gain practical skills for writing prompts to generate useful outcomes/output from AI
• Obtain strategies for integrating AI into daily workflows
• Discover how the various AI models work and when to use them
• Learn the differences between ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot (so you can decide when to use each)
• Review how to use Microsoft Copilot within the Microsoft 365 (Office) suite to more easily work with data in Excel, improve emails in Outlook, transcribe meetings in Teams, create presentations in PowerPoint, summarize documents, and much more
• Comprehend how to generate content (such as text, images, and videos) with a look at the ethical implications
Refund Policy
Any student who wishes to drop a course may do so by visiting or calling any of the campus Welcome Centers. These requests must be made no less than one calendar day prior to the first class meeting date to be eligible for a full refund of tuition and fees (except for any tuition or fees noted as nonrefundable).
Unless otherwise specifically stated or approved, no refund will be issued after a course-start date.
We do not issue partial refunds in the event that a student starts a course late or does not complete the course.

Tuesday, May 19 & Wednesday, May 20, 2026 (10 am – Noon each day) via Zoom. Zoom link will be emailed to students by Monday May 18.
